Welcome to the land of Myth...
You are entering a high fantasy sword and sorcery role playing setting where the players are hero's a bit larger than life bearing the banner of light in strife against great darkness. On the other hand, many aspect of the setting are whimsical, even tongue and cheek. The setting borrows heavily from current, historical, mythological, and literary sources and mixes them in humors ways which still provide recognizable archetypes for characters and campaign settings. The setting is linked to A Celtic Mythology setting (Faerie) and a Norse Mythology (Jötunheimr) via Gates.
Mythidoria has a potentially infinite number of Gates that connect it to alternat worlds allowing it to be used as an add-on for existing campaigns using almost any D&D like rule set.
It is based on the Pathfinder™ 1st or 2nd edition rules. Core Pathfinder rules are used, but setting specific elements such as ancestries and deities are replace by Mythidorian specific elements to create a rich and thematically consistent setting.
